Yes that is an elected position and after my experience of losing elections at Ellinwood High School I finally won one. ha ha We have two sons Clint who is 20 and Brett 17. Then I bounced around for several years trying my hand at journalism, government, missions and youth ministry. Finally I returned to KSU to get into education (certification to teach and a masters in administration). It was there I got reacquainted with a friend from Great Bend - Kim Casey. We dated while I was at KSU, and then married. She had two great kids from a previous marriage, and I joined them in Topeka for two years.
